Travelling Salesman
At one of the better sales meetings I've attended the sales people (reps and direct salesmen) were asked to list the 5 best fastener suppliers as seen in the eyes of their distributors. Each sales person had about a month to poll their customer base and ask them to provide their best 5 suppliers, regardless of product, company size, etc. Surprisingly, or maybe not, certain companies showed up on almost every person's list regardless of what part of the country the salesperson was reporting from. Then there were some "regional" suppliers that were only familiar to those salespeople from specific geographic regions. So.....let's hear from you. Who are the top 5 fastener suppliers you deal with? If you want, post the reasons why they made your top 5 list.
